The end user puts up a deposit of $550,000. On delivery the buyer pays an additional $550,000 and the transaction is complete. Since the profit was $100,000, the company gets $50,000 and the investor(s) get $50,000. So, with a $1,000,000 investment, the investors made $50,000 or 5%. This complete transaction takes 27 days or less. If the investor does this type investment once a month, the compounded ROI is well over 60%/year.
There are also returns in the 7%-10% per month area for other type commodities. These are usually in contracts that take 70-100 days to complete. As you can see, the yearly ROI can be well over 100%/year.
